the vancouver canucks are one game away from their first lord stanley cup, after shutting down boston in game five. just two days after getting pulled in boston, luongo showed up big, stopping all thirty one of the bruins shot attempts, and sealing up the one nothing win. hmmm, it seems to me, just by the scoring in this series, that boston still has the advantage. boston loses by one on the road, but wins by an astounding twelve to one goal mark at home in two games. what gives. is home ice advantage really that huge of an advantage. i guess so, i also wouldnt be surprised if the canucks won six to two in boston in game six either, thats what hockey does. its mindbottling. if luongo plays like he did tonight in game six, the vancouver canucks will win the stanley cup. hes the best goalie in the nhl, i guess we will see if hes got that killer instinct that lebron lacks. by richard divita
