With The 4th Pick The Orioles Select...Dylan Bundy
Yesterday was MLB's amateur draft. The Orioles selected high school pitching prospect Dylan Bundy from Oklahoma. In his senior season he went 11-0, striking out 158 batters and giving up only 5 walks and 2 earned runs over 71 innings. Yeah, it sounds like he's pretty sick. His brother, Bobby, was picked by the Orioles in 2008 and is currently pitching for the Frederick Keys. Loading up on quality pitching is exactly what the Orioles need to do to compete in the AL East. Only one thing concerns me about this guy: he is already demanding a $30 million contract. WTF? You are in high school. Strasburg only got about half of that. Can't you just be happy to play with your brother? Read his interview from the Baltimore Sun here.
